Use the Force this Friday 2/29 @ 9pm

Back by popular demand, this Friday we're playing Star Wars Battlefront II. Set your clocks to stun for our usual start time, 9pm. Light Sabers, Wookies, and more Star Wars quotes than you can shake a Tie Fighter at! Hope to see all you Nerf Herders there.

Vegas baby, Vegas Friday 2/22 @ 9pm

We're so money and we don't even know it! Bring yer ropes this Friday, we're playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas. I'll host at the usual start time of 9pm. I will be incorporating some of, if not all the new maps and such. Both downloads are free now though, so if you're planning on playing be sure to grab those.

Let's try to get enough folks to do some adversarial this week. Co-op is fun, but not as much fun as shooting some of you in the bulbous, photo mapped head.

Goddamn Locust

Gears of War 2! Oh hell yeah. I know it's not usually what we post, but this is front page worthy stuff right here. Check out the teaser for Gears 2 above, then be sure to download the free new theme and gamerpics in the marketplace. My God this will be the longest wait between February and November in the history of mankind.

Ghost Recon this Friday 2/15 @ 9pm

The people have spoken, and it looks like we've got a bunch of GRAW fans around here. We're moving back to Friday this week, with the usual start time of 9pm. I'll start out with GRAW since I think more of us have it, but if it's preferred we'll move to GRAW 2.

For those who'd like to play but don't have either one, according to the Gamestop's website, you can get a used copy of GRAW for around $12. The single player alone is worth that, and the multiplayer is great as well. Definitely worth the moneys.

Halio Kart this Saturday 2/9 @ 9pm

Mongooses and hammers and rockets, oh my! Mark your calendars...this Saturday I'm hosting Halio Kart beginning at 9pm!

What's Halio Kart you ask? Well it's just a little variation of Team Slayer that I've concocted for Sandtrap. Players spawn from one of four corners of the map, each with two Mongooses (Mongeese?). Primary weapons are rockets, with gravity hammers as secondaries. Other weapons on the map are limited to two sniper rifles, three spartan lasers, and the map default grenades, trip mines and machine gun turrets. Depending on how that plays, settings can always be adjusted.

If we get tired of Halio Kart, I'm always up for a little Grif Ball as well, and thankfully the guys at Rooster Teeth had been working on a Beach Grifball map (Last Resort) which I've made some mods to myself, so it's ready to go.
